EGI represented the AGINFRA PLUS project at the third edition of the annual Digital Infrastructure for Research (DI4R) conference held this year at the University of Lisbon campus in Lisbon, Portugal, from 9 to 11 October.
Jointly organised by EOSC-hub (European Open Science Cloud-hub); GÉANT (the pan-European data network for the research and education community); OpenAIRE (Open Access Infrastructure for Research in Europe), and PRACE (Partnership for Advanced Computing in Europe), the event brought a packed programme of sessions, posters and networking opportunities to Europe’s researchers, developers and service providers – leading to brainstorming and discussions on how best to serve the user base.

AGINFRA+ aims to exploit core e-infrastructures such as EGI.eu, OpenAIRE, EUDAT and D4Science, towards the evolution of the AGINFRA data infrastructure, so as to provide a sustainable channel addressing adjacent but not fully connected user communities around Agriculture and Food.
The selected AGINFRA+ Use Cases will illustrate the benefits of applying the Science as a Service approach to pressing research questions from the corresponding research communities.
